甘静古茶

Antique Pu'er Tea

与 茶 合 道 · 与 道 合 真

Origin

Yunnan · Ancient Trees · 2,000 m

Antique Pu'er Tea comes from the original ecological protection forest of ancient tea trees, above two thousand metres of altitude in Yunnan, China. These rare trees have been growing for centuries in the mist of the mountains, far from any intensive farming.

Our tea contains no added flavour and no colour, and is free from pesticide and fertilizer pollution. It is a rare pure natural Pu'er, slowly revealing its taste and colour.

The Art of Brewing

Nine gestures, one tea

A 5 g baled tea yields about three litres of moderate-strength tea (when drunk alone), or two litres of fuller intensity to accompany a meal. Filtered or spring water is preferred, brewed in a transparent vessel where the colour can be watched. A baled tea can be brewed for forty-eight hours.

i

Unpack the cotton paper and place the Futuo into the filter ball.

ii

Close the filter ball and fasten it well.

iii

Pour freshly boiled clean water into a transparent tea vessel.

iv

Soak the filter ball and shake gently to release the tea.

v

Watch the colour, deepen it if the tea is to accompany a meal.

vi

Lift the filter ball out, let it drain, place it on a clean saucer.

vii

Filter the tea and pour it into a serving pot.

viii

Pour into small cups, sip slowly, and breathe the lingering fragrance at the bottom.

ix

Take the time to enjoy a cup of GanJing antique tea.

Storage

Dry · Aired · Away from light

Pu'er absorbs the odours around it. Keep it in a dry, occasionally aired, dark place. The longer it is stored, the better it becomes.
